Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the official Terms & Conditions for the Sp1ke Volleyball Draft ("Event"). By registering for or participating in the Event, all players, parents, agents, and representatives ("Participants") agree to the following terms. Please read carefully before completing registration.

 

1. Event Organizer

Sp1ke Volleyball Draft (“Organizer”) manages the planning, communication, registration, and execution of the Event.
The Organizer reserves the right to modify Event details when necessary.

2. Eligibility

Participants must:

  • Be 16 years or older at the time of the event (minors must provide parental/legal guardian consent).

  • Provide accurate personal information during registration (name, height, position, level, contact, etc.).

  • Be physically fit and medically able to participate in high-intensity volleyball activities.

The Organizer may refuse or revoke registration for players who do not meet eligibility requirements.

3. Registration & Payment

  • Registration is confirmed only after full payment of the Event fee.

  • Event fee is non-refundable, except in cases outlined in Section 8.

  • All registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis until the limit of 60 players is reached.

  • Participants may not transfer or sell their registration to another individual without Organizer approval.

4. What the Event Includes

The registration fee covers:

  • Accommodation during the Event

  • All meals

  • Airport transfers (Ljubljana, Zagreb, Vienna)

  • All training sessions, scrimmages, and evaluations

  • Access to physio and medical supervision

  • Use of DRAS Center facilities

  • Participation in meetings with club representatives (when applicable)

No partial packages, add-ons, or individual service purchases are available.

5. Player Evaluation

Participants will be evaluated by coaches, scouts, and sporting directors, including representatives from top European clubs.
The Organizer does not guarantee:

  • A professional contract

  • A trial invitation

  • A ranking, score, or specific outcome of evaluation

All evaluations are subjective and based on the professional judgment of club staff.

6. Conduct & Behavior

Participants are expected to act professionally, respectfully, and responsibly. Violations may result in removal from the Event without refund, including but not limited to:

  • Unsportsmanlike behavior

  • Disrespect toward staff, players, or facility personnel

  • Damage to property

  • Alcohol or substance use during the Event

  • Failure to follow safety instructions

7. Health & Safety

  • Participants acknowledge that volleyball is a physically demanding sport that carries risk of injury.

  • Participants attend the Event at their own risk.

  • The Organizer provides on-site medical staff for basic supervision and emergency response.

  • Organizer is not responsible for pre-existing medical conditions or injuries sustained during play.

  • Participants are encouraged to have valid personal medical insurance.

8. Cancellations & Refund Policy

Organizer-Initiated Cancellation:

If the Event is cancelled for reasons outside our control (venue issues, natural disasters, force majeure), the Organizer may:

  • Reschedule the Event, or

  • Issue partial refunds depending on costs already incurred.

Participant-Initiated Cancellation:

No refunds are provided if a Participant cancels, regardless of reason, including:

  • Injury

  • Travel issues

  • Personal commitments

  • Visa or documentation problems

However, the Organizer may allow credit toward future events (case-by-case review).

9. Travel & Documentation

Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel outside the included airport transfers.
The Organizer is not responsible for:

  • Visa applications or failures

  • Lost or delayed baggage

  • Missed flights or travel disruptions

10. Media Rights & Photography

By attending the Event, Participants grant the Organizer full rights to capture, use, and publish photos, videos, and media content featuring them, for:

  • Event promotion

  • Marketing

  • Social media

  • Talent reports

Participants waive any claims for compensation related to media use.

11. Personal Data & Privacy

The Organizer collects personal data for registration, evaluation, safety, and communication purposes.
Data may be shared with:

  • Club representatives

  • Coaching staff

  • Event partners (for logistics or evaluation purposes)

Data will not be sold to third-party marketing agencies.

12. Liability

The Organizer is not liable for:

  • Injuries, accidents, or health complications

  • Personal item loss or theft

  • Outcomes of club evaluations or contract decisions

  • Travel, accommodation, or logistical issues outside the Event schedule

Participation indicates acceptance of these conditions.

13. Rule Changes

The Organizer may update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be published on the Event website and apply immediately.

14. Acceptance

By registering, Participants confirm that they:

  • Have read and understood all Terms & Conditions

  • Agree to comply with all Event rules

  • Accept full responsibility for participation risks

  • Consent to the use of personal and media data as stated above
